Book Signing
with Ann Martin
Ann Martin, the popular author of “Food Pets Die For” came
to Westboro. Ms Martin signed copies of her new book
“Protect Your Pet” at Natural Pet Foods on Churchill Avenue
Sunday April 24th at 7PM.
Ann
Martin is the groundbreaking and internationally recognized
Canadian author that exposed the poor practices of the pet
industry to the general public in her first book, “Food Pets
Die For”. Her latest book “Protect Your Pet” is a
continuation of her quest to expose the world to the truth
about animal health and well-being. Ann Martin’s
controversial investigation into the multi-billion dollar
business of commercial pet foods has made her an expert in
the field; while her continued efforts to uncover the truth
have made her an author that every pet owner should read.
Natural Pet Foods is honoured to host Ms. Martin and is
dedicated to promoting animal wellness.
Natural Pet Foods is a new pet
store in Westboro, which echoes Ms. Martin’s belief that
pet’s deserve healthy, wholesome foods. All of the pet foods
are free of animal by-products, chemical preservatives,
artificial colours and flavours. This includes a large
selection of food pre-mixes, raw, organic and holistic foods
and treats. The store is also dedicated to promoting animal
wellness and provides small animal massage therapy, reiki
and pet consultations to aid in the overall well-being of
your pet. In addition, they also provide pet photography and
pet portrait services. Set up in one of the original homes
in Westboro, the store has a cozy country charm. A small
store in keeping with the village-like setting in Westboro,
Natural Pet Foods promotes local artisans and businesses
from the Ottawa area. Hard-to-find items like designer
collars, functional doggie clothing and the best beds in
town are just a few of the products they carry. Owners who
compete in the sport dog community will find a good
selection of agility, flyball, bikejouring, canicross,
skijoring and other unique items. Ann Martin’s books, as
well as a variety of other books, magazines and DVD’s are
available in-store.
